For difficult and complex grinding profiles, profile diamonds are used to dress the grinding wheel.

Thanks to their highly accurate diamond cutting geometries, even the most difficult grinding wheel profiles can be dressed with high precision. Profile diamonds are manufactured in various designs such as angle and radius in our production facility in Winterthur and are ground with the utmost care and precision by our experienced staff. 

Profile diamonds from our company are always available in synthetic versions. The service life of synthetically produced diamonds is now fully equivalent to that of natural products. Synthetic diamonds also have the advantage that all types of grinding wheels (corundum/sintered corundum and silicon carbide) can be dressed with them. In contrast to natural diamond, synthetic diamond is also somewhat less cost-intensive to procure. 

When processing diamond weavers, particular attention is paid to the hardness structure, also known as the "growth direction" of the diamond. High operational reliability is ensured by choosing the largest possible angles and radii. Depending on the application, the profile diamond requires different angles and radii. You specify what you need - we manufacture!
