Multigrain dressers are an economical natural diamond tool that is used when speed and efficiency are required. For example, a high feed rate due to a large diamond cross-section can be dressed efficiently. The tools are also popular for professional dressing on cylindrical surface and internal cylindrical grinding machines and are often used as a miracle weapon against unbalance.

Multigrain dressers from our production are available in normal as well as in wear resistant bond. The normal bond is used for dressing general precious, semi-precious and normal corundum wheels, while the more wear-resistant bond is used for dressing highly abrasive and wheel bonds. However, the wear resistant bond is not at all suitable for dressing diamond or CBN grinding wheels. 

Information on grit sizes:
The grinding wheel diameter influences the diamond content. The larger the diameter, the higher the carat content.

We have the most common sizes from ST1 to ST7 available as semi-finished products at short notice and in a flexible manner.

Furthermore, the coarser the grinding wheel, the coarser the grain size.

Our standard range goes from D1181 to D357.

Information about the holders:
The inserts can be combined with the holders in any way. Thus, the most common holders are always available from stock.

To determine which multigrain dresser is suitable for your production, we need:
the geometric dimensions
the type of holder
your grinding wheel data (diameter, grit, hardness and type of grinding wheel to be dressed)
