DIAVLISS DRESSING PLATES

For a clean dressing result

Diamond dressing plates are the high-quality alternative to classic single-grain dressers and profile diamonds. These are used for single-profile, straight dressing as well as for upscale profile dressing operations.

In our production facility in Winterthur, we manufacture the diamond dressing plate at short notice and flexibly tailored to your requirements. 

We differentiate the diamond dressing plates based on the formation of the diamond into dressing plates made of synthetic diamonds (MKD and CVD) and dressing plates made of natural diamonds. Needle and scattered grain tiles have been mostly replaced by CVD and MKD designs today. Of course, we produce natural diamond dressing plates upon customer request.

Dressing plates made of synthetic diamond are available as monocrystalline, parallel or diagonal MKD rods with constant cross-section (0.4 x 0.4 to 1.5 x 1.5 mm with 1 to 5 pieces per tool) mainly in a useful length of 4 - 5 mm.

This ensures excellent reproducibility of the dressing result as a result of constant effective width when using low dressing feed values (approx. 0.005 mm). Furthermore, excellent tool life values can also be realized by using the DIAVLISS IK internal cooling. Users of these tools also confirm the excellent and thorough cleaning effect on the grinding wheel. 

Dressing plates made of synthetic diamond are also available as polycrystalline, parallel or diagonal CVD rods with constant cross-section

(0.4 x 0.4 to 1.5 X 1.5 mm with 1 to 5 pieces per tool), mainly in a useful length of 4 - 5 mm.

This ensures reproducibility of the dressing result as a result of constant effective width (see above). In addition, excellent tool life values can also be achieved by using the DIAVLISS IK internal cooling, because, among other things, the pore-free retention on the grinding wheel is favored as a result of the thorough cleaning effect.
